Himalayan High Altitude Trek

Mountain Expeditions

Himalayan High Altitude Trek

Trek beneath 6,000m peaks through remote Himalayan valleys, high passes, and mountain communities few travellers ever reach.

Duration 14 Days / 13 Nights
Location Ladakh, India
Difficulty Extreme
Max Group Size 6–10 trekkers

Two weeks beneath some of the highest peaks on Earth, walking valleys and passes that see only a handful of trekking groups each season. This is a proper high-altitude expedition — not a warm-up trek — built for travellers who want sustained time above 4,000 metres and the kind of silence that only remote mountains give you.

Daily distances are moderate by design; the itinerary is paced around acclimatisation, not mileage, with two dedicated rest days built into the schedule. You’ll sleep in a mix of trekking lodges and expedition-standard camps, guided throughout by a certified high-altitude mountain guide and a full local support crew.

What Travellers Say

★★★★★

“Hard, beautiful, and completely worth it. The local guides knew the mountain like family, which made a genuinely demanding trek feel safe from start to finish.”

Daniel Reyes Himalayan High Altitude Trek, 2024
★★★★★

“We saw three leopards in two days at Yala, which our guide told us was rare even for him. Every detail of this trip felt considered — nothing generic about it.”

Sarah Okonkwo Sri Lanka Wildlife Safari, 2025
★★★★★

“Riding Khardung La was the highlight of my life on two wheels. Tenzin and the team handled everything — permits, altitude, the works — so all we had to do was ride. Genuinely life-changing.”
